New classroom software rolls out

From staff reports

As classrooms across campus prepare to phase out current online lecture resources, WSU is offering workshops to help introduce Panopto, the system which will replace previous classroom software.

Fifteen workshops will be held as a part of a series called Technology Test Kitchen, supported by Academic Outreach and Innovation.

Panopto is now installed on classroom computers university-wide. Teachers registered with Blackboard Learn may utilize the program. Angel, which is in the process of being phased out, is not integrated with Panopto.

Each workshop within the series is an hour long unless stated otherwise, and will be held in the Holland Library, Room 150. No registration is required.

Professors who have classroom materials saved as Tegrity recordings or in other formats should contact Academic Outreach and Innovation by emailing [email protected] for assistance in transferring files. Other questions should be sent to [email protected].
