If you were to ask any of my friends about my sense of fashion, they would laugh out loud and say I don’t have one. So I was intrigued by Lance Lijewski’s informative article on Hippie-Boho.

But Mr. Lijewski’s comment: “It’s almost impossible to look attractive and stay comfortable without looking like a homeless woman… Fear not, looking homeless is the sexiest move you can make this season,” mocks the painful predicament of homeless people. Dressing in casual clothing is a pleasure only if it is a choice. 

I suggest that anyone who wants to learn about programs to address homelessness in our area check out Sojourner’s Alliance, the Community Action Center, and Family Promise of the Palouse.
