Spirit Springs Day Spa, located in Moscow, came in first place for Best Spa or Salon.

Spirit Springs offers nail and foot care procedures, massage therapy, full-body waxing, and facial and skin care services.

Sondra Eimers, a certified nail technician, opened the spa in 2001 after expanding her nails-only salon.

“We’re relational here, we have a huge loyalty and most of our clients are repeat customers,” Eimers said. “Also, we really have the most spa-type items under one roof.”

Paula Nygaard operates Wake Up Beautiful, a service that features body wraps, permanent makeup, eyelash extensions, and eyelash and eyebrow tinting within the spa.

Nygaard is certified by SofTap, Sudatonic and M’lis to perform these procedures.

Licensed massage therapist Kathy Palmer provides unique services such as reflexology and hot stone therapy, as well as traditional massages like deep tissue and Swedish.

Identity Salon and Day Spa came in second place and is located on Main Street in downtown Pullman. The salon offers hair and nail services, full-body waxing and massage therapy.

Hi-Tek Nails and Tanning, which has locations in Pullman and Moscow, came in third. The salon features full-body waxing and nail, eyelash and tanning services.
