New fraternity recognized

From staff reports

Sigma Tau Gamma received official recognition by the Interfraternity Council (IFC) at 3 p.m. yesterday afternoon. The fraternity colonized last fall and initiated its members Oct. 4.

After several months of communication with the IFC and early recognition by their national organization, Sigma Tau Gamma is the latest installment of 24 actively recognized fraternities on campus.

Similar to Phi Sigma Kappa, the fraternity is an associate member.
