forrest

Forrest Heller (front) descends down Mt. Rainier in May of 2014. Heller and the group spent the night at Camp Muir before continuing the climb the following day. After climbing to 12,800 feet, the guides determined that the group would not be able to make it to the top fast enough and turned Heller and the rest around about 2,000 feet shy of the summit. Three days later a group of six climbers died climbing the same mountain.
