A rape allegedly occurred at the Emerald Downs portion of the Providence Court apartment complex on Brandi Way last weekend.

The female victim, an 18-year-old, reported the rape around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night at Pullman Regional Hospital. Pullman Police then responded to the report to run a rape kit. The case is still active said Penni Reavis, Support Systems manager for the Pullman Police Department.

Reavis said the victim did not indicate she wanted to proceed with charges.

Reavis was unable to confirm if the woman was a WSU student, although the complex is a popular student residence.

Pullman Police have not received any details about the possible identity of the suspect.
