Clear and not so clear for takeoff

Start – Justin Blackmon, WR, Jaguars

Justin Blackmon is available in 20 percent of all Yahoo! leagues. Since coming off of his suspension, Blackmon has begun to establish himself as one of the most trustworthy fantasy targets available to fantasy owners. With Bye Weeks and injuries ramping up, see if by some miracle Blackmon is still available in your league. He should be owned in 90-plus percent of leagues by Sunday, so strike now if you can. Don’t hesitate to pencil him in as a week-to-week starter.

Sit – Josh Gordon, WR, Browns

Expect Green Bay to get after the Cleveland Browns and Brandon Weeden. Shutting down opponents’ No. 1 target seems to be a major goal of the Packers’ defense. That means Josh Gordon will be disappointed and blanketed by green and gold this week. Sync that with the Packers’ pass rush and a sketchy offensive line, and Weeden might struggle getting passes out of his hand this weekend. If you can sub, give Gordon a spot on your bench this week.

Start – Joseph Randle, RB, Cowboys

As a proud owner of DeMarco Murray, I feel fantasy owners’ pain in dealing with his recent knee injury. If your bench is below average and Murray is on it this week, consider picking up Joseph Randle on the waiver wire. Randle will likely be the feature back for Dallas and is going to face a disastrous Eagles defense. They are in the NFL’s cellar when it comes to run-stopping, so I like owners’ chances taking a shot in the dark on Randle.

Sit – Trent Richardson, RB, Colts

Expect the football to be flying in Lucas Oil Field. The Denver Broncos are a consensus No. 1 pick among NFL experts, and chances are when Peyton returns home he will put the Broncos on the board early and often. This means Andrew Luck shoot for the sky. It should be a fun game, but I expect Trent Richardson to be neglected in the backfield. When the Broncos roll into town, teams don’t typically have the option to run much. The only way to catch Manning is via the long ball.

Start – T.Y. Hilton, WR, Colts

While Trent Richardson will be neglected on Sunday, expect the Colts receivers to get plenty of looks from Andrew Luck. One of the receivers on the receiving end of the Colts’ promising passing attack will be T.Y. Hilton, who is notorious for both big games and bad games. Expect Sunday’s to be of the larger variety. Hilton is one of the most targeted receivers on the Colts’ roster over the last three weeks and he has explosive big-play ability, which he put on display against Seattle. The more Manning throws, the more the Colts throw. Things are looking up for fantasy owners with exploding talents like Hilton.
