Palouse Grange hosts final show

NINA WILLIS, Evergreen reporter

The September Palouse Grange show features local musicians performing unique styles of pop and electronic music.

The show starts off with Mary Welcome, a Palouse resident, and her “lullabies soaked in reverb,” as she describes them.

Arman Bohn, also a Palouse resident, plays a retro/futuristic pop style, which is sequenced to live visuals resembling primitive video games controlled by music, Bohn said.

The Earrings will perform next in their first show, playing a bass and violin set in a zen pop style. Bohn said members Avalon and Poise Kalin recently moved from Portland to Spokane, and have a background in visual arts and music.

The show takes place at 8 p.m. tonight at the Palouse Grange Hall, 210 E Bluff St., in Palouse. Admission is $5.
