Congratulations to everyone on completing the 2022–23 school year; you all deserve a hard-earned break, whether it be in your hometown or here in Pullman.

For me, I am going to be in Pullman all summer. This will be my first summer here since I started going to WSU back in 2020, and I have made it my goal to find (and hopefully attend) as many community events as possible before school starts back up again.

I have already found a few events that I personally found interesting, and I want to share my list with everyone in Pullman, whether a WSU student or a city resident. I hope this helps!

Pullman Farmers Market:

  • What: Annual Farmers Market
  • When: 3:30–6 p.m. Wednesdays
  • Where: Brelsford Visitor’s Center

Family Concert:

  • What: Family-friendly concert featuring Community Band of the Palouse and Auf Ghets German Band
  • When: 6:30–8:30 p.m. May 19
  • Where: Gladish Domey Auditorium
  • Cost: Free

Speakeasy Night:

  • What: 21 and over Speakeasy era night with music
  • When: 9–10 p.m. May 19
  • Where: Rico’s Public House

The Greatest Show:

  • What: The Greatest Show performance
  • When: 6:30 p.m. May 19, 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. May 20
  • Where: 1060 NE College Ave
  • Cost: $15

Friends Spinning:

  • What: Practice your yarn-spinning skills while socializing with friends or new people 
  • When: 1–3 p.m. May 20
  • Where: Yarn Underground in Moscow
  • Cost: Free

3 Forks River and Arts Festival:

  • What: Festival with vendors, beer garden and more
  • When: 10 a.m.–5 p.m. May 20
  • Where: Downtown Pullman
  • Cost: Free

Drag Brunch:

  • What: 18 and over Drag Brunch with mimosas for viewers 21 and over
  • When: 11 a.m.–2 p.m. May 21
  • Where: Inland Oasis, 730 W. Pullman Rd. #3 in Moscow
  • Cost: $22

“Suspiria”:

  • What: A viewing of the R-rated film “Suspiria” (1977) as part of Moscow Film Society’s Euro Horror series
  • When: 7–9 p.m. May 24
  • Where: Kenworthy Theater in Moscow
  • Cost: $7
