Network with professionals at the Career Expo

The Academic Success and Career Center is hosting a Career Expo on Tuesday.

The expo at Beasley Coliseum will include career counseling, testing, and for-credit courses; etiquette dinners, resume critiques and mock interviews; and on-campus networking events with prospective employers, according to ASCC website.

ASCC has a large impact on the success of students, and their $30,000 budget covers on online job-connection database that is used to connect employers with students, according to ASCC.

A full list of employers attending this networking event can be found on the Handshake website.

This biannual event has provided many opportunities for students in the past, and according to recruiters quoted on the ASCC website, “Cougars are among the best prepared to hit the ground running in a ‘Top 25’ ranking of universities.”

The Career Expo is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Beasley Coliseum. The website recommends students dress appropriately.
