Pullman Police arrested two men for drug possession and theft early Thursday morning at Walmart.

Police arrested 30-year-old Devron Parrish and 35-year-old Taylor Contos after they reportedly shoplifted merchandise from the store. While apprehending the pair, police found methamphetamine and heroin in their vehicle, Sgt. Jake Opgenorth said. They were both charged for drug possession.

Contos was charged with second-degree theft after attempting to steal over $2,000 worth of items from the store. This included multiple pieces of technology, clothing, mobile phones and phone cards, a BB gun and baby monitor. Parrish was charged with third-degree theft for stealing a hair pick.

The two are being held in the county jail and are awaiting release, dependent on the prosecutor’s decision to go forward with the case.
