WSU has added a new long snapper in the transfer portal. University of Tennessee Martin product Colton Peoples is headed to Pullman, according to the Spokesman Review.
He played all 12 games last year for the UT Martin Skyhawks. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound senior also recorded four tackles with the Skyhawks.
Peoples began his collegiate career with Notre Dame College, with whom he appeared in 10 games as a long snapper in 2022. He transferred to UT Martin where he earned a second-team all-conference selection for the Ohio Valley Conference (FCS).
He will replace Colson Brunner on the WSU roster. Brunner, who was the Cougars’ long snapper last year, entered the transfer portal this spring.
