SWAT team conducts training on campus

The Whitman County Regional SWAT team conducting training on campus Thursday.

The routine training started at 7 a.m. and lasted until 4 p.m. in different areas around campus.

The SWAT team is composed of officers from the Pullman Police Department, WSU Police Department and the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office.

Lucille has been a reporter for five years now, starting early in high school. She’s reported on everything from protests in New York City to car crashes here in Pullman. In her free time, she likes to read, paint and listen to music. Lucille’s a sophomore majoring in multimedia journalism and broadcast news and has been with the Evergreen since September 2024. She’s from Bremerton, but has lived all over the country.
