Whitman County Democrats will host a candidate meet-and-greet Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Pups & Cups in downtown Pullman.
The event will host Cindy Kothandaraman and John-Mark Mahnkey, who are both running for the Ward 1 City Council seat; Shae Ortega and Tawny Szumlas, who are both running for the Ward 3 City Council seat; and Joe Pitzer, who is running for Position 3 on the Whitman County Hospital District 1A board.
Candidates will answer questions and talk with voters.
This event is part of a series, called Common Grounds, featuring candidates from across the county taking place every Thursday evening through July 24.
