A poetry reading by Irish poet Moya Cannon is taking place today. Cannon will read poems from her many published collections. The reading is free to students interested in attending, according to the news release.

The reading is sponsored by the filmmakers of The Hunting Ground, a documentary about college campus sexual assault cases. Cannon is an acclaimed poet whose writing focuses mainly on nature, human language and music.

The reading will be from 12 – 1 p.m. today in Avery Hall at the Bundy Reading Room. Those who are interested in attending and have questions can contact event organizer Donna Potts or visit www.thehuntinggroundfilm.com.
