A sexual offense that occurred the night before was reported to the Pullman Police Department Sunday.

The 19-year-old female victim said she may have been raped by a 37-year-old acquaintance, according to Sgt. Dan Hargraves.

Hargraves said details in the case are very limited. He could not say if drugs and alcohol contributed to the uncertain nature of the report, or if the victim was a WSU student.

Police will continue to investigate the report.
