BookPeople to host children’s book club

BookPeople of Moscow will be hosting after-school book club events beginning this November.

On the first week, children ages 6 – 10 years old, as well as parents, are invited for a book discussion and accompanying activities on the book, “Chicken Squad” by Doreen Cronin.

On the second week, 9 – 14-year-olds will focus on “Bronze and Sunflower” by Cao Wenxuan. Teens ages 13 – 18 years old will meet on the fourth week to discuss “The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice,” by Mackenzi Lee.

Eija Sumner will be hosting the after-school book clubs, as well as doing weekly story times.

The book club events will be from 4 – 5 p.m. on Tuesdays at 521 South Main St. in downtown Moscow. More information regarding other events by BookPeople of Moscow can be found on their website.
