“Sweat the Stress” to offer free fitness classes for week

During finals weeks, from Dec. 11 – 15, University Recreation will offer free fitness classes during the quarterly event, “Sweat the Stress.”

Classes are offered at the Student Recreation Center, the Chinook Student Center and other fitness locations around campus, according to a news release.

At the Gibb Pool on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12 – 12:50 p.m., classes will be offered for Aqua Zumba, a high intensity cardiovascular workout.

Other classes include cycling in SRC 252 on Monday from 6:30 – 7:20 p.m., a whole-body strength building class called BodyPump Express in SRC 256 on Tuesday from 7:10-8 p.m., and on Thursday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in Chinook 20 a triple workout including cycling, rowing, and core workout.
