The ZZU will officially reopen for Taco Tuesday at 4 p.m. and host a grand reopening party on Friday, Jan. 26.

Co-owner Cathy Cooper and manager Skyler Cracraft invited family and friends to the ZZU last night and performed a “dry run” of a typical business night. Cooper said it was a successful night and received positive feedback regarding the food and drinks.

She said attendees favored the raspberry daiquiri and coconut mojito. With the new ZZU, one of the special events Cooper would like to reclaim in the future is Latin Night.

“We definitely want to bring Latin Night back,” Cooper said.

The ZZU Club and Grub will be open from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
