WSU student arrested for alleged drug delivery

A WSU student was arrested after police seized cocaine with a street value of $12,000 from his home.

Quad City Drug Task Force served a warrant for 21-year-old Andrew P. Rega’s residence after a two-month investigation, according to a media release from the Whitman County Sheriff.

During the search warrant, the Quad Cites Drug Task Force and police seized seven ounces of cocaine, narcotic medications with a street value of about $2,000, Rega’s 2005 Honda Civic and $1,300 cash.

Rega is charged with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, and possession of a legend drug. All four charges are felony offenses.
