WSU Parking and Transportation Services is currently gathering data to input into its new comprehensive transportation plan via a brief survey.

The process of creating the new plan started in June.

Chris Boyan, Assistant Director of Operations for Parking and Transportation Services, said that this new comprehensive plan will be the first major change to Parking and Transportation Services in over a decade.

“The whole point of the information gathering stage of the process is to find out how to best serve the students at WSU,” Boyan said. “The more students who take the survey the better.”

Students will be asked for their input on accessing WSU’s campus, encouraging them to share any experiences or ideas they have.

Boyan said once the information gathering stage is complete, drafting for the plan will begin.

The survey will be open until November 21 and can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/s/WSUTransportation.

The new plan will also pull information gathered from the Bike and Pedestrian Plan Survey taken by Parking and Transportation Services last year, which focused on bicycle paths and parking on campus.
