Raider players will haunt your fantasy lineup

Start: Andy Dalton, QB, Cincinnati Bengals

It’s Week 9 of the NFL season and six teams are on their bye week. This means that a good majority of you need to find a starting quarterback. If you are lucky enough to have Andy Dalton on your roster start him, no questions. Dalton and the Bengals are going up against the Jacksonville Jaguars which is almost a guaranteed win for Cincinnati given the Jaguars’ 1-7 record this season. Although A.J. Green’s playing time has been inconsistent, participating in just four of seven games due to his nagging toe injury, he practiced Wednesday and is expected to play this week, according to Rotoworld.com. In his absence Mohamed Sanu has stepped up tremendously giving Dalton even more throwing support. With Green back on the field and with Sanu lining up on the other side Dalton should have a field day against the Jaguars this Sunday.

Larry Donnell, TE, New York Giants

The New York Giants, coming of their bye week and are hosting the Indianapolis Colts this week. The Colts defense is allowing the 11th most points per game to the TE position, according to ESPN.com. This will serve as some nice help for Eli Manning considering his number one wide receiver Victor Cruz is officially ruled out. In week seven against an above average Dallas Cowboy defense Donnell racked in seven receptions for 90 yards. Due to the loss of Cruz and the week Indianapolis defense expect Donnell to put up some solid numbers and expect him to find himself in the end zone a time or two.

Sit: The entire Oakland Raiders Team

At 0-7, the Oakland Raiders are the lone holders of the NFL’s worst record. To make matters worse, they are traveling to the Pacific Northwest to face the Seahawks and the 12th man. Through eight weeks Seattle hasn’t been playing their best football, but luckily for them they can work on all their tweaks against an awful team this Sunday. Starting any Oakland player is a high-risk low-reward type of situation that most likely will not pay off. If you happen to have anybody on your team from Oakland do yourself a favor and do not play him.

Wes Welker, WR, Denver Broncos

With the acquisition of Emmanuel Sanders, Welker hasn’t seen the ball nearly as much as he has in previous years. Although he was suspended for the first two games of the season, Welker has only brought in one touchdown and has only reached the 60 yard mark just once. Sanders and Demaryius Thomas have clearly been the two go-to targets for Manning this year, and expect that pattern to continue as the Broncos go up against an average New England Patriot’s defense.
