Letters to the Editor | Don’t increase parking price

PATTI ELSHAFEI, Pullman

Parking wants to increase rates … again. Absolutely absurd.  They need to take a 2.5 percent decrease like academic programs on campus instead of raising parking rates.  They tried to trick the university consumers into believing that there was no increase this fall 2017 — but by changing the colors, they raised the rates. The highest paid individuals on campus get free parking; the rest of us pay.  I encourage all to comment on this as indicated in Monday’s WSU Insider. Shame on University Parking — no improvements, more money.
