PULLMAN – The Pullman City Council has approved the renaming of a section of Colorado Street on the WSU campus.

Cougar Way is set to become a reality following a suggestion from WSU athletic director Bill Moos.

The street, named after WSU’s mascot, will run between D Street and Stadium Way.

The Pullman City Council voted in favor of the renaming at its Tuesday meeting.

Because the street section falls on campus, the university will decide when the official renaming takes place.
