Fall victim identified as WSU graduate
Stoneman marks third death this year, closes park

Officials have identified the body of a fallen hiker at Palouse Falls as a recent WSU graduate.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as 26-year-old Noble Stoneman, according to The Spokesman-Review. Stoneman graduated during the May 5 commencement ceremony.
Stoneman fell into the water at the base of the falls on Thursday and failed to resurface.
