A Pasco man was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday morning for the rape of two local women.

David Margerison, 30, is convicted of raping one woman near the Snake River in Whitman County and a 16-year-old Clarkston girl in Asotin County. Margerison was charged with first- and second-degree rape in Whitman County Superior Court.

He will be eligible for parole after 14 years.
