Three arrested for drug trafficking on Palouse

Three people were arrested Wednesday after detectives found methamphetamine, cocaine and two handguns during two warrant searches at residences in Clarkston and Lacrosse.

Jessica Young, 26, and Donald Hume, 35, both of Clarkston are suspected of trafficking narcotics through the region. They were booked into the Asotin County Jail for felony firearm violations and possession and intent to deliver methamphetamine and cocaine.

The detectives from the Quad Cities Drug Task Force determined the packaged narcotics included nearly four ounces of methamphetamine and two ounces of cocaine.

While executing a related warrant at a residence in Lacrosse, detectives found an additional half ounce of cocaine, scales and packaging material. As a result, Theodore McGuire, 28, of Lacrosse was booked into the Whitman County Jail for possession and intent to deliver cocaine.

Whitman County Sheriff Brett Myers said additional charges and arrests might occur as the investigation continues.
