Concert, movie series drawing to a close

Pullman Parks & Recreation is wrapping up its outdoor concert and movie series.

The movie series will conclude Aug. 1 with “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” in Reaney Park. The event will begin at 6 p.m. with bouncy houses and free popcorn, and the movie will begin around dusk.

Country band Dan Faller & The Working Poor will take the stage at 6 p.m. on July 30 in Reaney Park. Then Eric E., an acoustic rock, blues and jazz artist, will play at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 6 at the Pine Street Plaza. Snake River Six, a Dixieland jazz band, will play at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 13 at the plaza.

Food vendors begin serving at 5:30 p.m. at the concerts.
