The Eastside Market Place in Moscow, Idaho, is hosting its annual Easter Eggstravaganza celebration Saturday at 11a.m. 

Plenty of events including an Easter egg hunt, cake walk, craft tables, ring tosses, and other games will occur throughout the function.

The Easter egg hunt, open to ages 5 and younger only, will have 5,000 hidden eggs available for the children to find.

Of the 5,000 hidden eggs, 100 “golden eggs” will also be hidden which contain larger prizes.

The First Step Internet’s Cake Walk will give out 40 cakes to winners, and the Easter bunny himself will even make an appearance.

Katelyn Taylor, an administrative assistant at Eastside Marketplace, said she is looking forward to her first year as a volunteer for the Easter Eggstravaganza. She will be working at the craft table, complete with materials for Easter ornaments.

“I’m excited for the cake walk,” Taylor said, “…but I think it will be great to just see how excited all the kids are.”
