American Idol alumnus Kris Allen will headline the 2014 National Lentil Festival in August. Other local artists such as Igor and the Swamp Donkeys, Whiskey Syndicate, and The BGP will also perform.

The National Lentil Festival will be held August 22 and 23. It is free and open to the entire community, and the artists will perform on separate stages.

Since American Idol, Kris Allen has received national success through three hit singles including “Live Like We’re Dying,” “No Boundaries,” and a cover of “Heartless.” His debut album has sold 1.7 million copies.
