Woman arrested for assault in mom-related bar fight

From staff reports

PULLMAN—A woman was arrested Saturday night after she admitted to having punched another woman, chipping her tooth and causing her to bleed.

Pullman police charged Bailey Carlson, 22, with fourth-degree assault. Carlson told officers she retaliated when the victim, a 26-year-old Pullman woman, pushed Carlson’s mother on the dance floor of Stubblefields bar.

Sgt. Dan Dornes said the altercation involved all three women, who pushed each other and spilled drinks before police arrived.

Dornes said Mom’s Weekend 2014 was one of the “quieter” Mom’s Weekends that have taken place in Pullman.
