Pullman Police search for blow dart assailant
January 16, 2014
Pullman Police have received a report of a second blow dart assault. The incident occurred Sunday on Bishop Boulevard near Sweet Mutiny.
The victim, a 20-year-old Pullman male, was walking with his girlfriend around 9:30 p.m. when he felt something sting between his shoulder blades. It was a blow dart, which penetrated about one-half of an inch into his skin.
Pullman Police Cmdr. Chris Tennant said the blow dart most likely came from a vehicle, because there is very little foot traffic along Bishop Boulevard.
Tennant said there are currently no suspects; however, they are still looking for a dark-colored two-door sedan.
This is the second blow dart incident reported to Pullman police in the last week, both of which occurred around 9:30 p.m. Sunday. The previously reported assault occurred on the corner of Colorado Street and Monroe Street.
