Emphasis on customer service and food made from scratch earned Old European the student choice award for best breakfast.

General Manager Channing Benson started working at Old European as a college student looking for a weekend job. From there, she eventually worked her way up to manager’s position, she said.

All the food at Old European is made fresh from scratch daily, not using any sort of premade batter or mix, Benson said. That high food quality and amazing service keeps people coming back, she said.

“I really enjoy the customers,” Benson said. “We get to see them first thing in the morning and start their day off right.”
