Whitman County residents have the chance to learn and discuss ways they can protect and promote tolerance of diversity Tuesday at the Gladish Community and Cultural Center.

Indivisible Palouse is an organization focused on helping members of the community contact their representatives regarding unjust and divisive policies, according to a news release. The purpose of the meeting is to talk about ways the local public can help other citizens recognize the importance of understanding diversity and advancing economic stability for everyone.

The meeting is from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, and people of all ages are welcome to attend, according to the news release.
