The Outdoor Recreational Center (ORC) and the WSU Ski Club will host the 42nd Annual Ski Swap for students to find winter and ski gear at affordable prices.

The Ski Swap is a fundraiser that is organized like a garage sale. The event will feature 200 tables with gear for sale by both private vendors and community members. The ORC will also be selling old ski equipment that is being replaced this year.

Jonathan Stahl, assistant director of Adventure Programs and Experimental Learning, described the event as a good way to find deals on used equipment and is excited for students to participate this year. The staff at the event will be the WSU Ski Club.

By purchasing admission, attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a raffle during the event.

This will be the last Ski Swap put on by the ORC and WSU Ski Club. However, there are other ski swap events happening in the Northwest in both Spokane and Walla Walla.

Community members looking to sell their equipment should get in touch with the ORC. Table reservations are $50, and 20 percent of proceeds will go toward the fundraiser.

The 42nd Annual Ski Swap is a two-day event that will take place from 6 – 9 p.m. today for $3. and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday for $1 in the Hollingbery Fieldhouse.
