LUXE: Last minute Halloween costumes

KALEY MOZELL

Didn’t plan ahead for Halloween? We’ve got you covered. Here are a few last-minute costumes that you can make yourself or grab from Walmart.

How are you feline about your Halloween costume options? A black cat costume is a safe staple. Grab some cat ears and throw on an all-black outfit. Paint on a nose and some whiskers and you’re all set. Change up your look by making your makeup more dramatic and add a tail.

What’s the sitch? Call up your partner in crime to recreate an iconic early 2000’s cartoon duo. Team Possible is suited up and ready to defeat Dr. Drakken. To recreate Kim and Ron’s looks pair a black long-sleeved top with some cargo pants and black boots. Finish off the look with some fingerless gloves. If you’re feeling adventurous, add a black belt and possibly a Naked Mole-Rat.

Need the pear-fect costume for your bunch of friends? This group costume is budget-friendly and only requires one trip to your local craft store. Grab some colored shirts, matching bandanas, and some felt/paint/foam to recreate different fruits. Pair the colorful shirts with some matching socks or black pants.

Looking for a quick costume to save the day…Superhero costumes are simple and work for any occasion. If you already own a superhero shirt, pair it with pants and accessories that match the character. If you want to bring it up a notch, create your own superhero.
