City councilmembers remain the same following elections

Voter turnout 0.79 percent lower than state average

All Pullman City Council incumbents claimed victory in their respective elections after the final vote tally.

Eileen Macoll, at-large, defeated challenger Francis Benjamin with 51.29 percent of the vote to Benjamins’s 48.1 percent — a difference of 131 votes, according to the Whitman County Election website.

Ann Parks, Ward 1, won over challenger Chris Johnson with 51.41 percent of the vote to Johnson’s 48.09 percent —  a difference of 93 votes, according to the election website.

Approximately 44.4 percent of people in Whitman County voted in this election. The average for Washington was 45.19 percent voter turnout.
