Armed robber posts bond

From Staff Reports

Daraaraa Waqo, one of the men arrested for robbing a woman at gunpoint in her Pullman home, posted a $50,000 bond yesterday, said Whitman County Undersheriff Ron Rockness.

Waqo, 22, and a 17-year-old male were arrested in November for first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary. Waqo pleaded innocent the next day in a Pullman courtroom.

“He was ordered essentially to not contact any of the victims, to not possess any weapons or firearms, and to stay in the area,” Pullman Chief of Police Gary Jenkins said. “We have notified the victim that he’s been released and to take precautions.”

Pullman Police suspect Waqo is part of a Seattle-based burglary ring that frequents Pullman and surrounding areas
