Confirmed case count rises to five in Whitman County

Two males tested positive for COVID-19; 89 negative cases

The number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Whitman County rose to five this morning, according to a press release from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center.

The two newest patients are both 50 to 59-year-old males, according to the press release. They are both stable and quarantined at home. 

There are now at least 89 confirmed negative cases in the county, according to the Whitman County Health Department website

WCHD is still investigating close contacts of the first three confirmed cases, according to the press release.
