Whitman County COVID-19 case count reaches 20

Most recent patient is a male 20-39 years old; 16 individuals have fully recovered

A male 20-39 years old is the most recent individual to test positive for COVID-19 in Whitman County, bringing the total up to 20 cases.

The first 16 patients are fully recovered, according to a press release from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center. Three of the most recent patients are stable and isolating at home.

The investigation into the latest case is still ongoing and there is no report on the status of the patient, according to the press release. 

At least 981 individuals have tested negative for the virus, according to the Whitman County Health Department website.Â
