WSU earned another second place finish in the third race of the day that was the Women’s Collegiate Second Varsity Heat C. The second varsity eight team finished one second behind USC, with a time of 6:59.439.

A third and final second place finish closed out the day for the Cougars when the novice eight pulled a six-second lead over USC.

“It was a solid day in many respects. It’s good to have all of the boats through to the Grand Finals. We are going to have to be faster tomorrow,” Head Coach Jane LaRiviere said.
