Health officials release details about six recent COVID-19 patients

Six individuals shared a common social link; at least 1,314 people have tested negative

The Whitman County Emergency Operations Center released details about the six individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.

The new cases all share a common social link, according to Sunday’s press release from Whitman County EOC. 

The new patients fit the following demographics, according to today’s press release:

  • Two females aged 0-19
  • One female aged 40-59
  • One female aged 60-79
  • One male aged 20-39
  • One male aged 60-79

These recent cases bring Whitman County’s case total to 26, as reported by The Daily Evergreen. Nineteen people have recovered from the virus and the remaining seven are stable and isolating at home, according to the press release. 

The current spread of COVID-19 in the county indicates individuals must continue social distancing and to be vigilant about personal hygiene, according to the press release. 

At least 1,314 people in the county have tested negative for COVID-19 to date, according to the Whitman County Health Department website
