The Washington State University women’s golf team ends its fall season in the islands of Aloha.

The Cougars play in Kona, Hawaii, for the Inaugural Pac-12 Preview.

The tournament will be held at the Nanea Golf Club where exclusivity makes it one of the best courses in the nation, according to top100golfcourses.co.uk. The Pac-12 Preview is the first non-member tournament to be held at the golf course in its 10 year history. The 54-hole tournament will be played at par-73.

Competing against the Cougars will be ranked Pac-12 opponents including: UCLA (1), USC (2), Stanford (3), Washington (5), Arizona (9), Arizona State (10), California (25), Oregon (30), Colorado (43), Oregon State and Hawaii.

On the green will play senior Mallory Kent, juniors Lindsay Harmon and Kristen Rue, sophomores Rachel Lewis and Nani Yanagi, and freshman Cherokee Kim.

Head Coach Kelli Kamimura said she wants the team to end the fall season on a positive note, performing at their best against the best.

“In Hawaii, we look to end our fall season the same way we started it with solid play from everyone in our line-up,” she said. “We are excited to compete against the top team in the country and look forward to a great week.”

The Cougars will continue their 2013-14 season when they open up spring play at the Westbrook Spring Invitational in Peoria, Ariz., Feb. 23-24.
