Regents may select president this week

The WSU Board of Regents revised its agenda for a meeting this week to include the discussion of presidential candidates and the possibility of selecting a president on Friday.

The meeting will take place today and Friday at WSU Tri-Cities, Consolidated Information Center, Rooms 212-214, and will be video streamed in Lighty Room 403.

The regents will convene at 1 p.m. today, beginning with a meeting of the Regents’ Executive Committee and followed by meetings of the board’s other three committees. All sessions are scheduled to end before 5 p.m.

They will meet again at 8 a.m. on Friday to hear reports from WSU organizations and officials. Among these are the WSU Tri-Cities chancellor, the WSU Foundation, the WSU Faculty Senate, The Associated Students of WSU Tri-Cities, the Graduate and Professional Student Association, and the WSU Administrative Professional Advisory Council.
