Craigslist threat leads to arrest

A Pullman resident is in custody after allegedly posting a threat on Craigslist Monday around 3:30 p.m.

Pullman Police were notified of the ad and opened an investigation which led to the arrest of 53-year-old Bobby Farmer.

Titled “Mass Murders,” the message begins with “Here is your warning” and specifically targets people wearing WSU apparel. The post also said, “I will take down as many of you as I can.”

Farmer was arrested for felony harassment.

Pullman Police Sgt. Dan Dornes, said a search warrant was served on Farmer’s apartment and no firearms were found.

Farmer was set to appear at court in Colfax Tuesday afternoon.
