Panhellenic election temporarily delays

From staff reports

Following last week’s election week, Washington State University’s Panhellenic Council announced three of its 2016 councilmembers Monday.

Due to an inadequate number of candidates and the inability of the election committee to come to a majority rule, only three of the nine open positions on the 2016 Panhellenic Council have been filled.

Jesse Coy was elected the vice president of standards and accountability, Alexa Bickel as vice president of finance administration, and Ty Baird as vice president of new member services.

Panhellenic will reopen the application process to fill empty positions. However, the timeline for this process has not yet been announced.

Current Panhellenic president Taylor Christenson said she anticipates having the rest of the 2016 Panhellenic Council elected before Thanksgiving.
