Individuals with student organizations Black Student Union and Wake Up WSU led a peaceful demonstration in the Compton Union Building Monday between 10 a.m. and noon. The demonstration was an act of solidarity with University of Missouri students currently combating issues of inequality and racially-charged aggression. The demonstrators held copies of insulting and threatening messages shared on Yik Yak and Twitter by Mizzou students toward non-white students last week.
