ASWSU honors former advisor, elects senator

From staff reports

The ASWSU Senate passed a resolution honoring the body’s former advisor and elected an all-campus senator into the final seat of the Senate during their weekly meeting.

Logan Dozier, who recently was elected to be the ASWSU Senate’s administrative assistant, was chosen to be the sixth and final all-campus senator.

This is the third year that Dozier has worked as part of ASWSU, having previously served as the associate director of legislative affairs and assistant director of student life.

Resolution 45-02 honors Dan Maher, who served as advisor to the ASWSU Senate for 20 years. Maher stepped down as Senate advisor at the beginning of the semester.

Maher has worked in Student Involvement for more than 35 years, according to the resolution.

“If it wasn’t for the students at WSU I would not have realized everything I can learn, and how much I can grow,” he said.
