The Pullman Police Department and the Whitman County Regional SWAT Team arrested 32-year-old Francisco Real just after 10 a.m. Monday on Klemgard Street.

Real had an active California warrant for homicide/murder and was wanted on a $3 million bond, according to a Pullman PD Facebook post

Pullman officers verified Real’s location and developed a SWAT response plan after receiving a tip from the Los Angeles Police Department that Real was hiding in town, according to the Facebook post.

Nearby, faculty and students at Franklin Elementary School were contacted and began to shelter in place, according to the Facebook post.

The Whitman County Regional SWAT Team executed a search warrant, entered the residence and successfully detained Real without incident, according to the Facebook post. Real was then booked into the Whitman County Jail.
