Valentine’s Day is approaching, and there are a couple of fun events to look into to celebrate the day. But, if the love holiday is not really your thing, there is still so much more for you to do in the Pullman community this week.

Jeffrey Gibson: They Teach Love

  • What: Exhibition of work by internationally recognized artist Jeffrey Gibson
  • When: 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Tuesdays–Saturdays until March 9
  • Where: Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art

Here in a Homemade Forest: Common Reading Connections

  • What: Exhibition of work by Indigenous and non-Indigenous American artists inspired by the WSU common reading book “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer
  • When: 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Tuesdays–Saturdays until March 9
  • Where: Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art 

Knit and Crochet Class

  • What: Beginners knitting and crochet classes
  • When: First and third Saturdays of the month until April 20
  • Where: Yard Underground in Moscow
  • Cost: $79 for four knitting classes; $69 for four crochet classes; materials included

Anastasia

  • What: RTOP’s performance of Broadway musical Anastasia
  • When: Feb. 8–18

Bingo

Alexandria started working for the Evergreen in October 2020 as a news reporter and eventually hopped around to the roots/life, opinion and culture sections. She was a copy editor for three semesters beginning in January 2021 and was the Life editor in fall 2022. She was the copy chief for the summer and fall 2023 semesters, and is currently the editor-in-chief for the spring 2024 semester. She is from Tri-Cities, WA, and is always writing in her free time.

BRANDON WILLMAN, Multimedia editor
Brandon Willman is a junior multimedia journalism student from Vancouver, Washington. He started working as a sportswriter for the Daily Evergreen in Fall 2022 and worked as copy editor in spring 2023. Brandon was elected to be the Editor-in-chief starting in summer 2023 and served in the position from May 2023 to February 2024 before transitioning to the role of multimedia editor. He enjoys watching sports, backpacking, and watching horror movies.
